Formed after World War II as the Institute for Nuclear Studies, the Enrico Fermi Institute was renamed for the pioneering work of Nobel Prize Laureate Physicist Enrico Fermi. The logo celebrates Fermi's legacy by taking inspiration from the playful nature of the handwriting in his notebooks.
