Upon the opening of the new home for both the Physical Sciences Division and the Institute for Molecular Engineering in 2015 we were asked to help develop content for the massive video wall that dominates the main lobby in the William Eckhart Research Center. Drawing from the wayfinding system created by Chicago designers Studio/lab, we designed a template system for rotating content from the building’s primary occupants, including events, news item and even the occasional World Cup match (especially if Brazil is on the pitch.)
